What’s been your favourite project you’ve worked on at Apartment Group?

This is a double answer question for me!

Firstly was the development of the Master of Ceremonies role at Newton Hall which has since been rolled out at Le Petit Chateau. As a MoC I became much more involved with the operational parts of the wedding rather than simply making announcements. This made the job hugely satisfying and, without doubt, improved the level of service to all brides, grooms and their guests.

Secondly has been my involvement with Venue Show Rounds. VSR’s are a major part of any wedding venues Duty Managers roles and, for me, one of the most enjoyable parts of the job. Most days I get to show off my venue and talk about the exceptionally high levels of service that we offer. It’s not selling – it’s simply talking about a venue and a team of staff that I am immensely proud of. I have been involved with training of all wedding venue’s duty managers in this job.

What do you love most about your job?

Running a wedding venue means meeting a whole new bunch of customers on almost a daily basis. Running the pub means building relationships with our regulars as well as looking after holiday makers and tourists in the busiest pub in Northumberland. In summary, it’s the variety (and I’m an old romantic at heart!)

What makes Apartment Group different?

The magnificent career opportunities within this group and the extremely high levels of training offered to all team members.
