Ashley Dale - Reservation Manager

I first joined the apartment group in November 2013 as a receptionist at Newton Hall. In October 2015 I transferred to our head office to cover one of our reservationists maternity leave. From then I developed my career and eventually became Reservations Manager for the group. I head up all of the accommodation for Newton Hall, The Joiners Arms, Le Petit Chateau & William de Percy.
 
I left the Apartment group to try a different career path in August 2017, and quickly found myself returning to my previous role, as I couldn’t find another company that worked the same way.
 
Returning to the group just felt like coming home, I was welcomed with open arms, it’s like I never left.

    What’s been your favourite project you’ve worked on at Apartment Group?

    My favourite project was definitely the opening of Le Petit Chateau & William de Percy. With the venues having a combined 31 rooms this was just a dream to work with. I loved watching the creation of both places from the beginning and seeing them come to life. I am lucky enough to visit the venues weekly and still get the ‘wow’ feeling each time I step into a bedroom

    What do you love most about your job?

    The best part of my job is helping our couples plan their accommodation on the run up to the big day. This is mainly because it is the part everyone dreads. trying to organise families, trying to get people to decide if they want to stay, and then trying to get them to pay! I want to make it as easy and smooth as possible for them, and show them it really isn’t that daunting! Our accommodation team are excellent and I really think they let our couples know they are in safe hands.

    What makes Apartment Group different?

    I’ve never worked in another company quite like Apartment Group. This is mainly because they are always looking at opportunities to challenge you. For myself this is something I love. They are so willing to take a chance with anything and really do put their faith in their staff, which is so hard to find in a lot of businesses.
