Adam Howlet – Sous Chef - The Palm
Joined the group as a Kitchen Porter and started to lend a hand with some food prep until one evening I was called upon to work on a section during services. This was the start of my life as a chef. Gaining more and more exasperates as weeks went on, I started to make my way around the different sections of the kitchen. After working with different chefs and learning new skills and how to manage the day to day running’s of the kitchen I was given the opportunity to set up to Jr Sous chef. Until I got to work under Matt Collingwood world who moulded me in to the finished article and put me in my current role today as sous chef of the million-pound flag ship venue of the apartment Group, The Palm.
What’s been your favourite project you’ve worked on at Apartment Group?
- Being a Key player in opening 3 new venues and watching the Site grow

What do you love most about your job?
The People I work with and the chances to grow and express myself through the food I cook
